The Waterfront Jazz Series - Richard Harris & Friends
Enjoying live jazz music on the shores of Suisun Marina with the cool breezes from the Suisun Marsh is a fantastic way to spend a lazy summer Sunday afternoon. Bring your family, friends or church group to the Waterfront District for an afternoon of great music and picnicking!
The concert is from 3-5 p.m. on Harbor Plaza at Main Street and Solano Street.
Bassist Richard Harris was influenced at an early age by the 'straight' jazz piano styling of Oscar Peterson, Les McCann and Ramsey Lewis. Richard was caught by the sweet tones of Bassist Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, Stanley Clarke and Percy Heath.
Besides playing at numerous clubs and private affairs all over the world, Richard also has appeared locally at Claremont Resort & Spa, United Airlines San Francisco International Airport for Fleet Week, the Sheraton Heights Golf & Country Club, The Westin Hotels and Resorts, Napa Valley's Robert Mondavi Winery, The San Francisco Olympic Golf Course, Tiberon Yacht Club, ToUrelle, Hungry Hunter, Jass Work Shop, The Hyatt Regency San Francisco, Geoffrey's and Yoshi's.
